At G Smith Building Services, we recently completed a basement conversion in Salford, creating a self contained living space for our client’s son. The aim was to transform a compact and previously unused basement into a comfortable, practical area that could function as an independent space to live and relax.
Working within tight dimensions, careful planning was essential to make the most of every inch. The finished conversion includes a bright bedroom and living area, along with a modern shower room, all designed to feel open and functional despite the limited footprint. Clever layout choices and clean, neutral finishes help the space feel light and welcoming.
Recessed lighting, fresh plastered walls and durable flooring complete the transformation, turning what was once an overlooked basement into a smart and fully usable living environment.
